Frank Lickliter opened the PGA TOUR

1. Frank Lickliter opened the PGA TOUR National Qualifying Tournament with two rounds of 62.
2. Riding that momentum throughout q-school, he had the winning mark of 29-under par.
3. With that, Lickliter and 25 others earned a TOUR card for '08.
4. The 2008 Junior Ryder Cup will be staged Sept.
5. 15-16 at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, Ky.

2. Mark Calcavecchia and Woody Austin combined for a 12-under-par 60 in Saturday's better ball format of the Merrill Lynch Shootout.
3. At 20-under total, the over-40 duo has a two-shot edge over Bubba Watson and tournament host Greg Norman.
